Why did you become an ambassador for Invest in Aalborg?

Accepting the personal invitation to join the team of ambassadors to Invest in Aalborg was an easy decision for me.

I was flattered, honored and also inspired, especially when looking at the people around this table.

I think we all energize from being near people we admire and respect, and with that comes a strong urge to create and achieve something together.

How do you see Aalborg's potential as a business city?

The wide range of competencies, backgrounds and spheres we operate in is inspiring, and also representative of many of the pillars we stand on in Aalborg; proud industries, skilled craftmanship, contemporary arts, deep science and tech. And everyone is here to contribute with what we can, motivated by generosity and a sense of obligation.

In Aalborg, we have a unique opportunity to excel and accelerate cross-disciplinary, because decision makers, influencers, idea generators, monetary sponsors, land owners and make-doers coexist here, and we share the pride in advocating for some of the same values and qualities: the informality of interactions, the accessibility of our politicians, the safety of the city centre, the funkiness of our art-institutions and the people who represent them, the quality of education and the stamina of the hard working generations before us, who have built scalabale components we can easily remodel, revamp and reinvent.

“Limfjordens Vande” talks about the longing and the search for new adventures, inspired and fueled by the strong powers of our fjord. I think we can all relate to the lyrics as part of the ambition of Invest in Aalborg.
