As COWI’s Regional Director with more than 300 skilled employees in the Aalborg office, a positive development in Aalborg and Northern Jutland is crucial for recruiting and retaining staff locally.
Also, in order to ensure necessary political focus from the parliament on our challenges in the region, a unified presence from the local business community is vital and I am happy to play a small part in this important task.
How do you see Aalborg's potential as a business city?
Aalborg and northern Jutland has a lot of resources vital for growing businesses of the future.
Especially Aalborg University, ranked best in Europe within Engineering, creates a pipeline of the most important resource – the employees.
Furthermore, Aalborg has a huge potential as a development hub for new technologies within the Green Transition, which can benefit the entire region. One of our key strengths is that businesses and public authorities work together to fulfill this potential.
