The research mission is working to increase the share of renewables and the guarantee of security of supply through a reliable grid integration of large solar and wind parks and other prosumers.

Case: LiftraWhen Per Fenger couldn’t find the specialists he needed in his job at the time, he decided to create them himself. The most experienced blade test center in the world, Blaest is residing at the port of Aalborg. Blaest has mastered static and fatigue testing of blades as well as modal analysis and as an independent company the centre is testing blades from leading manufacturers from all around the world.
